This policy explains what happens to personal data when you use this website, the contact form, the newsletter, and applying for a job with us. It is written to be read, not to cover us in fog.

What this policy covers
This policy covers this website only. Our games are sold and played through Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and other stores, and some of them are published by other companies. Anything those platforms or publishers collect while you buy or play a game is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
What we collect, and why
When you use the contact form
We receive your name, email address, the subject you chose and your message. We use them to answer you, and the message is delivered to the relevant studio inbox by email. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering an agreement. We keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful to the conversation, and then delete it.
When you subscribe to the newsletter
We collect your email address and nothing else. The list runs on Sendy, self-hosted on our own server, so it is not handed to a mailing-list company. Signing up is a single step: your address is added as soon as you submit the form, with no confirmation email. The legal basis is your consent, given by signing up.
Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link that removes you immediately, and we keep your address until you use it. Because there is no confirmation step, somebody could enter an address that is not theirs — if that happens to you, unsubscribe from any email we send, or write to us and we will delete it.
When you apply for a job
Applications reach us by email, with whatever you choose to send, typically a CV or a link to a profile, and a portfolio. We use them only to assess your application. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible employment relationship. We keep applications for the length of the selection process, and delete them afterwards unless you agree that we may keep them on file for future openings.
Keeping the forms free of spam
To stop automated abuse, our server briefly counts submissions per network address and stores a short fingerprint of a message so the same one is not sent twice. These records expire automatically within 24 hours and are never used to profile anyone. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the forms usable.
Server logs
Like any website, ours runs on a server that keeps standard access logs, which include network addresses. They exist to keep the site running and secure, and are held for a short period by our hosting provider.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device when you browse it. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and there is currently no analytics on the site, no Google Analytics, no pixels, nothing counting you. Our cookie policy explains the detail, including what changes if we add analytics later. If we do, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Who else is involved
We keep third parties to a minimum, and we do not sell or share your personal data for anyone else’s marketing. The ones that exist are:
- YouTube (Google) game pages show a thumbnail image for each trailer, loaded from YouTube’s servers, which means Google can see your network address. The video player itself loads nothing until you click play, and then only through youtube-nocookie.com.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its database on our behalf.
- Sendy, the newsletter software, which we host ourselves — the subscriber list stays on our own server rather than with a mailing-list company.
- Amazon Web Services (SES), in the EU (Ireland) region, which delivers the mail this site and the newsletter send — your address passes through it to reach you.
Where a provider is outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the safeguards that provider offers, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Write to [email protected] and we will answer within a month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this site handles personal data, adding analytics, moving the newsletter to an external provider, or anything else that affects you, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
